Truly beautiful. This photo makes me think how lucky we are in the U.S. to have so many natural resources. Let's hope we don't all move to chemical-preservative food, but that we don't overfish our oceans either. Thanks for the high marks! Glad you enjoyed.

Eric, Big blush. Yes, it was cold, especially by the water. It may interest you to know that the locks this boat was coming through also includes a 21 step fish ladder for the salmon to go from the Sound to the lakes and streams inland. This fish was still jumping, despite the recent ascent of the ladder. Also, thanks so much for your very encouraging comment on the Rowers photo on the More Seattle Stuff page!
-KimKimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03687351187791689224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23860865.post-1161499624463586092006-10-21T23:47:00.000-07:002006-10-21T23:47:00.000-07:00A fantastic photo Kim, and love that you noticed t...A fantastic photo Kim, and love that you noticed the salmon. I didn't think that they would appear so close to land, or should I say, where there wasn't some kind of natural ladder. Not sure if I'm clear, but you probably get my point. Looks cold by the way!Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13796507758758766120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23860865.post-1161454101434517992006-10-21T11:08:00.000-07:002006-10-21T11:08:00.000-07:00Wow, great capture of the Salmon.
