That will bring a pop-up window at the bottom of which is a check box to complain about the site, click that , then choose the " I'm comlaining because someone is usingy copyrighted work without permission. Fill out the info, and Google will handle it. <br />When the site has a domain name ending in .com, you can do a Google search by writing "who is *******.com?" (use th website's name). This will bring up who owns the domain or their domain company where you can look up the owner. I then send a formal "cease and desist" notice, very brief and to the point, stating the work is copyrighted, used without knowledge or permission, and they are to remove it immediately and not continue "scraping" the RSS feed to drive traffic to the ad site. This usually works very well. Most of these are from outside the USA, but they don't want to make waves. I did have one site a few years ago get their ad priviledges removed by Google for violating copyright observance, and before the guy closed up shop he renamed the site "F••• Kim!" in a lovely script typeface. ;-). These sites use robots, so dint feel too bad about it-- just check your statmetering company every few weeks and review who is making unusual use of your feed. Good Luck!Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03687351187791689224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23860865.post-39471559120202352012010-05-26T14:35:10.533-07:002010-05-26T14:35:10.533-07:00Penn Cove mussels are my favorite.
