Split Rectangle

Just beyond Frank Gehry's electric-guitar-red aluminium shingles and clear blue raised panels on the roof of the free flowing Experience Music Project, you can spy the Space Needle's revolving restaurant in the sky (46 minutes per full rotation) and 360 degree observation deck. Gehry expects the red paint of these shingles to fade with age, just as music changes over time. I liked the way the colors in this shot split the frame diagonally like a quilt block.

Nice shot with good colours and shapes.
When I was little we used to go to a restaurant called 'carousel'. You could sit at the tables as the floor area spun very slowly for different views. Unfortunately it is a trendy lakeside restaurant/ bar now and I can't take my own kids there. Might have to come to Seattle!

That is a great photograph.
After watching 'Frasier' sitcom one can only wish to come and visit Seattle, especially to go on the Space Needle.

Colour contrast, angle of shot, and perspective are all wonderful.

The red color is so vibrant. I like the way it splits the shot.
