Window Boxes At Street Level

Photo & Text Copyright 2007 Seattle Daily Photo. All rights reserved, including reproduction or republishing.

Of course the street is not exactly level here, but significantly sloped. The Inn at Virginia Mason on Spring Street had the most incredibly lush window boxes growing along the sidewalk on this steep uphill climb. High summer and bright flowers abound to match the bright sky. Temps have been hot all week (in the 80s & 90s F) and will continue through Wednesday when we may see some rain showers and temps in the 70s F. Wishing you a wonderful start to the work week or a lazy holiday if you are vacationing!

That is an impressive display. And it looks to be well-cared for too. Nice photo.

Best Wishes for a nice week,

I love the flowers and the angle in which you took this photo.

Hi there Kim!!
First of all, congratulations for your first year on the Seattle DP!
I've been busy indeed to come in the anniversary day but well, never is too late uh? :)
I have to tell you how I admire your work. You have a lot of difficulties and keep on posting everyday, and the quality of your pics is always amazing!
I can't chose a photo, that would be such a crazy thing to do. But I can tell you I really love the one of april 26th titled "Lover's view story" and how you tell the story. Another one is the one of May23th with the trainer working and the city behind them... I can't get tired of your eye!
but what I love more is that I didn't know anything about Seattle before seeing your blog. And now i can tell it's a beautiful city indeed!
Keep on doing! Mucha suerte y ánimo! :)
