Seattle Spring

B&W Lefty

It is the first day of spring, fast moving clouds are roiling through the sky on a cold breeze and there is new snow in the mountains. There were showers last evening and predicted again today, but spring is there to be found if you look. The city is awash in the pinks and whites of cherry and plum blossoms, but gray is having its way right now.

Hello there from Belgrade, Serbia. It's the same weather and flowers here, with a bit of wind. Eastern Orthodox Easter is at the end of April this year, when I hope spring will really have sprung!

I heard your music starting to come on and looked up at our large skylight here in the office. I thought a big bird was up there. LOL.

I like the whole idea of spring. The sun is out here and bright. After days and days of clouds and rain today is more than welcome. It is really nice. The crows and other birds must being having a fling 'cause none have showed up here.

I like your photo. It is very nice.

I hope you get to see my Brookville blog today. You can see me in my car on the Interstate going 65 mph. Wheeee!

Vary nice, artistic and well captured photo. I love the effect and composition, really nice.

Spring is very good, we are heading to autumn and both are very good season for the photograph.

Very nice photo. Although the calendar says spring we still have snow on the ground. But you can feel that change in the air.

Beautiful shot. The blossoms are beautiful in color but this is by far more dramatic. MB

Beautiful and I love that it is B&W. I got caught up for a long time reading about freegans and voluntary simplicity - thanks for posting about it, it's very interesting!

I like very much that you did this in black & white. It gives it a serenity.
