An end of the work day stream of traffic flows under the Washington Convention and Trade Center's goliath clear barrel arch that covers Pike Street for a full block. It has redefined the space for seven years now and unifies the two sides of the street. I notice some lovely spangles adorning the arch's interior right now.

This photo reminds me of the song "Silver Bell." I remember visiting Seattle one year during the holidays. We had lattes to keep our hands warm, as we strolled along admiring the shop windows, singing "Silver Bells." Seattle is so beautiful during the holidays.:)

Oh Kim! This is so spectacular even Ebenezer himself would feel in the holiday spirit. I'm having so much fun catching up on your blog. Wow, I've missed some great shots! This one is amazing.
Hi Kim, this is a lovely light spectacular. It makes me think of how behind I am...every year I feel the holiday season creeps up on me and is there before I'm ready. Thanks for thinking my photo looked like Sunset magazine! :)
Stunning pic Kim. What a lot of beautiful light bouncing all over the place in this pic!
Looks like Seattle is really getting into the Christmas spirit.
I am going to have to hunt down some holiday scenes as well.
Electricity savings do not? Greetings.
Great downtown shot, Kim.
That's festive without being over the top for Christmas. I have a thing about putting up Xmas decorations early, especially tacky ones but this is a stunner and your description is really wonderful.
Happy Thanksgiving, Kim. Looks like Pike Street is ready for Christmas holidays. Lovely and festive feel.
