1700 7th Ave

So much new construction has occurred in Seattle in the last ten years. Some spectacular architecture and some ho-hum now graces the skyline. I thought this was an attractive high-rise. This is the north elevation and tallest portion of the 2001 complex built on three levels. It is occupied mostly by Nordstrom employees and Merrill Lynch holds the top four flours.

This is an interesting angle. I feel a little vertigo just looking at it.

You still have leaves? I guess all that concrete and asphalt keeps things warmer but leaves do fall due to shorter nights. To me the building looks like a house of cards.

I agree, this looks like a great building and I love the POV on this.

I was surprised by the eclectic architecture in London. IMHO they are ruining the skyline with some of their new architecture. The locals have some colorful names for the most garrish ones.

What a dizzyingly beautiful shot, Kim! I love all those crisp lines and the muted colors. Lovely.
