Green Glass Above

One of the fun things about going out shooting with a friend instead of by yourself is that they draw your attention to things they notice and you perhaps missed or saw in a different or less important way. Michael looked up as we were exiting the Conservatory and I got to see something I would have completely missed had he not said something. Green is my fave color, and I love the art glass in this portico roof.

And man did you capture it well! When I first saw the photo appear I thought, "That's nice, but I'm not sure what it is." Then I read your caption and said, "Ohhhhh! I remember that!" Great job Kim and a beautiful shade of green.

Lovely green. I think Michael will agree that it reminds one of art nouveau brasseries in Paris, like Chez Julien, for example.... not that they have this glass, just reminds me of such!

It's true that beauty is sometimes overlooked. But it's great when you happen to discover it. Great jade green in this one!

Beeeeeeautiful! Makes me kinda wish green was my favorite color. Even though it's red. Just now I wanted it to be green. Thanks for that!

What a terrific shot. If I'm ever there, I'll look around (up) for it. That's nice to have someone to go shooting with, too. Greetings from sunny and very warm northern California.

Well good for Michael. Such beautiful decorative glass that you've captured, as always, so beautifully. Stunning colour and light and decoration.
