Here is a peek to the left of yesterday's view. The DuPen Fountain featuring large rocks and bronze sculptures by Seattle artist Everett Du Pen sits between Key Arena and the north conference building. The Space Needle is in the background, completing the mid-century vision of what folks at the time thought OUR day to day world in the 21st century might look like.

Well, thanks much everyone! I've been trying to work on my night exposure chops, (out of necessity by the time I have time to get out and shoot ;^) ). One of these days I may even know what I'm doing. I feel like I haven't had time the past two years to attend to learning this photography thing in earnest. Maybe this next year will see a change in that. I hope.

These two shots are superb. what a beautiful creation - both the fountain and your photography, Kim. I laugh when I hear you speak of working on your night photography when to me I'm in awe and it seems perfect...
Whoo-whee. I will definitely get to Seattle Center at night.
The water is just PERFECT. And I like how the Space Needle looks like it's diffusing, dripping down to the ground. Awesome.
