I wonder from which direction the bus will be coming? ;^) It will pull around the corner to this multi-route stop in the Uptown neighborhood any second. Meanwhile we can enjoy the view up hill on Queen Anne Ave. N and be thankful it is dry and relatively warmer.

Displays best describe them to wait. Will have to wait bad. People are tired of waiting and even the nerves are damaged.
You've captured a good photo. Moreover, a large and live in the city.
I love it! They're all waiting, watching...some impatient-looking, others looking as though they were born waiting.
That is one thing I enjoy about big-city life: Public transportation.
On a London blog I follow they were commenting on how they wish the new mayor would have promised not only to plant more trees, but to improve the tubes, as well. I laughed because they have such a great system already - one of their lines (the Bakerloo) has been running for over 100 years! And here we are as Americans trying (pathetically, I might add) to keep up to Europe's strong mass transit systems. I guess there's always something to complain about, eh?
Anyway, I like the colours of this shot. Nicely done.
Blogger has cropped the pic on you Kim. I could scroll back and forth in Reader and see the hill but I can't see it here and I can't click on the pic to enlarge it.
When you spend so much time waiting for buses it's nice to have something to lean on.

The title is a lyric from "Hills of Morning," an oldy of Bruce Cockburn's that came through my head as I was uploading the photo. For those interested, his new live solo album, "Slice O Life, will be released in a few days and I HIGHLY recommend it.

OOoooops, Wayne my bad again. I sized it right for the orientation and can see the whole shot here. The shot only shows a slight view up the hill, just past the guy with the red hat's head, just a sliver. May I ask if anyone else see's a foreshortened photo with the right edge cut off? It may be different people's screen size and what browser they use that determines if the whole photo shows. For some, my template is too wide and the sidebar slides over a portion of the posts, and that's why I suspect so many visitors (over 1300 now) subscribe to a reader to view SDP. I will keep working on the template when I can to keep the large sized images but decrease the width of the post field. Thanks again, Wayne. Now, off to work. . .
