Just when he thought no one was looking, I caught Fred Astaire having fun dancing in top hat and tails along a neon fixture in the Uptown Cinemas empty lobby. Wouldn't it be fun to see a group of seemingly ordinary people waiting at the corner for a light just break out into song and a spontaneous tap dance choreography as if in a musical, like a Flash Mob event? :-) Oh, wait, that might not be too far fetched in the streets of Seattle.

Fun indeed...! I adore watching Fred Astaire in old films.
How wonderful! That would put me in the right mood for a happy movie.
Kim, you have such a great eye. I love this.
The palette and composition really set the most wonderful mood here. You make me feel like dancing.
Awesome photograph, love those deep rich colors and of course Fred Astaire.
Perhaps on Broadway, where the dance steps are laid out on the sidewalk for you.
Love the neon glow in this photo! Wonderful, Kim!
Great to see Fred Astaire in any venue. I've always loved his old movies, they were all delightful.
Thanks for your comments about my son this morning on my blog. He'll appreciate being called a "cute dude."
OH I love this one a lot Kim. This may have gone to my #1 fav. THe color, the neon and of course Fred himself. So you take your camera to the movies with you?? Maybe I need to do that more.

Fred in Red---love it. Good mood lifter. MB
Can we go up there too and join him?..
I agree. In Seattle the people are always up to a dance.
