You can see the misty curtains of rain falling here. A couple enjoys a romantic moment watching it from the shelter of their umbrella. Seattle is experiencing rain for the first time in a month. After a record tying number of days with no recorded rainfall, the lawns all over town are prematurely brown unless they've had regular watering, like this city park on Queen Anne.

That's beautiful, Kim. Reminds me of our honeymoon, going for a romantic walk along the beach boardwalk {without umbrellas} when the skies opened. We did laugh. I'm glad you've had some rain to green things up again.
What a beautiful rain study.
Kim: You do so much to keep us in touch with Seattle life. I can't imagine the lack of rain for a month in the great northwest but this certainly captures what I think Seattle is like most of the time.
This is tender and poignant. The vignetting, which I assume is just from the tones of the clouds, is a good effect. Is this the overlook where we almost ran into one another last summer?
A romantic scene indeed. The umbrella makes it special. MB
You've captured the moodiness of this sky, well. Great shot. The lovers serve to embellish an already atmospheric scene. Have a great day.
This would have been a great shot without them, but the couple adds dimension.
What would Seattle be without rain.
Awww, sweet!
That's just so darned beautiful, Kim.
