I had a non-stop photo fun weekend. On Sunday Bibi from a Yankee in Belgrade and I went to the Luna Park area of West Seattle to meet Chuck of One a Day, Mostly Seattle at Cafe Revo. Wonderful food, wonderful place, wonderful staff! We got to meet Robert from Chuck's scooter group when he happened to come by on an errand and that was fun as we'd seen photos of him before. We got to talking over lunch how we all had become friends before we'd ever met face to face, and how we'd become acquainted with others and their work through our blogs. It was then that Joni came up in conversation and how much we liked her art work and blog which we had discovered through Chuck. So Chuck whipped out his handy iPhone and gave Joni a call and she joined us a few minutes later. What fun! The world really IS a small place in the daily photo community, and we all treasure the relationships and experiences our involvement has brought us. From left to right is Cafe Revo's mural, Joni, Bibi, and Chuck.

Love these portraits. Love this community. But I'm still a wee bit envious of you big city folks and your opportunities to assemble face to face.
We just spent five days camping and hiking with blog friends we met for the first time on Friday and another I have known online for several years and met four times now. It was like old home week.
Fun portraits, Kim! Not to mention your creative presentation! Looking forward to our getting together again next month!!
Great portraits and the crops! I wish I was there :), it seems you had tons of fun with wonderful people.
What a gorgeous portrait, Kim. And by the way, I never mind waiting for your slew of "dailies" all at once, as they are so much fun to scroll through. So glad your photo walk was a grand success--no surprise!
What genuinely beautiful people, artfully presented in a way that portrays the slice of life and creative juice you share with each other. Chuck genuinely admires and respects each of you uniquely. Kudos, Kim, and the best to the rest of you! Penny (Chuck's wife)
Fun post Kim! I sure enjoyed the day!!
I'm so sad I missed meeting you all!
Maya, I have no pity for someone enjoying herself in Europe right now :-). Okay, well, a little bit. When you guys land back here we will all come up to the island and hang out with you, deal?

Kim: Sounds like a good plan to me! Though I'd have to make sure it's OK with Janet since she is the one living on the island...
