I was walking by and saw all the artifice stripped away from this Seattle shop window. It awaits transformation as marketers try to decide what will captivate shoppers next. What caption might you give this image?
It is the City Daily Photo Blog community's first of the month theme day, the first of a new year and a new decade (or is it the last of an old decade. . . I never seem to get that straight!) Click here to view thumbnails for all participants around the globe. Wishing you a very happy 2010!

I have shoes but I have no feet.
Hi Kim - thanks for your support! I'm looking forward to following your blog in 2010. Happy New Year!
an intriguing image for theme day! Happy New Year and I wish you many good photos in 2010!
still life with plug. Thank you, Kim, for your comments and your inspiration.
Great photo for Theme Day, Happy New Year!
"Unplugged" Your blogging tenacity and talent is to be commended, Kim. Happy New Year!
How about "possibilities"?
Happy New Year, Kim!
Uh, "I lost MORE than an arm and a leg"?
Bonne année!
Yes, I'd say this shows change. Good shot.
This was a bad day. She lost an arm and a leg, then another arm and a leg, then they took the shirt off her back. Next time she will not leave the house without putting on clean underwear, just like her mother always told her.
"Beauty in motion" sounds fine for this great surreal shot! Happy New Year, Kim!
Caption? "Don't lose your head shopping in the sales"
Happy, healthy New Year, I hope 2010 is a good one for you and all yours
Oh, how I wish that this was my dress form, especially the flat stomach.
Caption? Memories!
"And HOW am I supposed to climb this ladder?!?"
Nice picture, reminded me of this one I posted last year: http://heidelbergdailyphoto.wordpress.com/2009/05/22/another-one-gone/
All the best for 2010,
Dan
"Who's goning to wear the shoes?'. Perfect for the theme--change.
Have a wonderful new year and sure come on up. MB
Waiting for change. It makes me curious about what the end result was.
Love your take on the theme, Kim. I guess the only change she needs to make for the new year is to collect herself, step into those new shoes, and climb the ladder to bigger and better things.
All the very best to you and yours in 2010! And again, many thanks for your support and comments in 2009.
