One Photo a Day From the Emerald City of the Pacific Northwest
The reading room on the top floor of Suzaallo. Stunning!
I always liked the Physics and Astronomy mini campus. Secluded and low key, it's got an amazing view of the ship canal and lots of grass.
All your shots could be captioned "Why we live here." My Alma Mater is on the other side of the state (no, not that one) but we walked through the U two years ago on the 3-Day walk (shortly before you and I met up at Green Lake. Seattle in good weather is gorgeous. Remember "The bluest skies you've even seen..."?
The perspective on this is strange and wonderful, Kim.
A cogent reason for living in Seattle. I was there in 2006 and I like this lovely city. Therefore I visit your blog daily. It makes the unrealisable wish for a second visit at the moment more bearable for me.
Definitely the Quad in the spring... :)
