Some Things Were Just Meant to Be :-). I wonder if little Jimmy knew at a young age that crowns and caps would loom large in his future? It is first of the month theme day for City Daily Photo Bloggers from around the globe. You can see what curious and clever signs they've found to delight you by clicking here to view thumbnails for all participants.
Thanks for your patience with the late postings. I was poking around on a little vacation and had no opportunities to access internet for a few days.

Smiley is a better name for a dentist than the name of my former dentist, his name was Neil Savage.

I think the funniest name I've ever seen for a professional is Dr. Butcher...didn't inspire too much confidence in. This one, however, is delightful for the his profession.
Isn't it great to be away from technology for awhile?!

Oh yes a very good one. I love signs like this - remember there was a butcher in London called de'Ath which rather ties up with Bibi's comment!

Bibi - In WWII, there was a British officer with the very Evelyn Waugh-like name of Pine-Coffin! He commanded some of the troops on D-Day. That was his REAL name! His unit had the highest rate of requests for transfers in the British Army!
