Guilt-Free Pleasures

Guilt-Free Pleasures

I'm going to take you along on our chocolate tour of Seattle we took during our staycation. It is something you can feel good about because you'll just be feasting your eyes. Your hips are safe :-). This was a participatory tour, and we actually hand tempered high quality chocolate and dipped cookies in it. The right chocolate can make even a humble Oreo Cookie feel as special as a French macaron. Here you see some that were professionally dipped and packaged for sale by Oh Chocolate! Tomorrow I'll show you the hands-on fun we had.

Oh, Kim, the effect of this photo and your luscious description is that I am now craving chocolate at 7:30 in the morning and will not be happy until I've had a big helping of it in some for or another and since I baked a chocolate explosion cake last night it seems likely that will be breakfast thanks to you. And you're going to do this for several days in a row? Heaven help my thighs.

Love the cheerful colours! And what a delicious idea for a stay-cation – might just have to do such a tour around here!

Tempting, to be sure. Staycation is a great idea here, too. I'm doing mine a day here, a day there.

Something about the colorful wrapping makes me want to eat what's inside, no matter what it is! The fact that it's chocolate is just plain lucky.
