I was sitting outside Uptown Espresso watching people come and go just two blocks from the Seattle Center campus where the 40th annual Bumbershoot music and arts festival took place over the Labor Day holiday weekend. I had planned to attend on Saturday, but due to the line up of popular performers including headliner Bob Dylan, tickets sold out for the main stage performances for the first time in Bumbershoot history.

I love the movement here, Kim! And I love the name Bumbershoot ~ I'd want to attend for that reason alone. Sorry you missed out on tickets.
I too like the movement here. Too bad about the tickets....: Bob Dylan was here not long ago; didn't get tickets because I wasn't sure he'd play a lot of his old hits...but he did! :E
Wow, really? I saw Bob Dylan years ago and he was terrible! I love his songwriting and his band was great as well as his harmonica skills, but the singing? ack! Nice shot!
Your banner shot is so inviting. (Got to take my bumbershoot out for the first time in months today.)
Love the motion here Kim. Bumbershoot Festival. What a great name. Don't need one down here!

Bumbershoot had a record run this year! Sorry you didn't score a ticket, Kim. People watching was your consolation entertainment, apparently ... nicely done zoom blur.
No. 18 bus. That's the one we were waiting for in Fremont yesterday. A nice ride back to Ballard.
