Well, probably not, but certainly great for the day before Thanksgiving, right? These autumn beauties were on display in Trophy Cupcakes' shop window. You might want to try their Candied Yam Cupcake today. Wishing all the Americans prepping for Thanksgiving a lot of fun whipping up their favorite recipes in the kitchen today for tomorrow's big gathering. Seattle's own amazing Gluten Free Girl has a dynamite vegan pie crust recipe and lots of other gluten-free Thanksgiving recipes that everyone at your table this year can enjoy. And check out this recipe for gluten-free pumpkin cupcakes she recommends! Ooo la la. Double lap around Greenlake.

I would opt for these anytime, seeing as I am the only American that doesn't like pumpkin pie.

Trophy Cupcakes is quite a place. I'm thrilled that we have so many different cupcake bakeries in Seattle. A cupcake is such a civilized treat!

Hope you've had a great Thanksgiving, Kim.

Just found your site and I so enjoyed looking at Seattle through your eyes. I live a little north in Mount Vernon and also participate in a couple of photo a day challenges. After looking through your blog on Saturday, my husband and I decided to go on a photo tour of Seattle on Sunday. Had fun going to some new places and seeing things in new ways. http://thornburghphoto.blogspot.com

They do look so tempting and I'm a savoury girl. Since Sex and The City it is interesting to note he word cupcake has now taken over form the word we used for such sweet little cakes. "Fairy" cakes we used to call them this side of the pond.
