A woman changed her loud verbal abuse of a man to a physical attack while passers-by watched and a guy across the street took video of the altercation with his cell phone.

Sorry to hear there was a fight, but I like this shot. The streets reflecting and the guy with his dog. Lovely!
Fantastic shot, very nice the little dog.
Greetings, Karl
The holidays can be a time of joy but they can also be so painful. And now there are so many devices to record that pain. Excellent shot.
Your photo appears to be looking up Pike Street at First Ave - no place to be at night. BUT it is a whole lot better than years ago, for sure! :-)
Your photo captured the scene very well. I can almost feel the chilly dampness. :-)
Call me a "Ballardite now retired in N.W. Arkansas."
Is this down around 1st Avenue? A little sketchy if my memory is right. Still, how strange to stop and stare at it, rather than back away or run for help.
It's such a peaceful shot, in spite of the story behind it.
I never think of this area as sketchy or rough and I am often there late at night. It is quite tame and as you can see by Rachel's tracks, I'm standing at the entrance to Pike Place Market.
I find altercations in public so startling and alarming, I doubt that I would have had the presence of mind to take a photo. I admire the rain-slick appearance of the area in your snap.
The photo doesn't convey the conflict at all. I love the textures and changing light in the shot.
