Skywatch Friday: The Cold Olympics

The view from Betty Bowen Outlook was crisp and clear this winter day (although not today. . .sigh). The Olympic Mountains were somewhat shrouded in swirling cloud. A tanker sits on Elliott Bay near the Magnolia neighborhood. The Magnolia Bridge is visible to the right. I took this shot with my iPhone. You can see more skies from around the globe at Skywatch Friday here.

Many of the Seattle sights look like they could be North Carolina, building a snowman, a starbucks on every corner. But not THIS view. This is the one and only.... Seattle. Simply breathtaking.

Great shot from the iphone! I like seeing your views of Seattle because my daughter lives in west Seattle and it makes me feel like I am seeing what she sees as well. It's a beautiful city.

you took this with an iPhone??? I'm so out of the loop. It's an amazing photo, better than what I could get with my point and shoot Cybershot. what a view. I like that building in the lower right corner.
