I came across this softly glowing building at Hamilton International Middle School while out on a walk. The school reopened last fall after a 73 million dollar renovation. I love the shoji style upper windows illuminating a snowy night scene. Hard to believe this was Seattle's first middle school, built in the 1920's.

I don't usually like building pictures, but this one I really enjoy. You captured something that sparked inside of me.

You're right, they do look like shoji screens.
as if the light is yearning toward us...
That is a lot of money. But I like the windows.
I like the style, lines and light.
