This is typical of groups of friends out doing things together. They are interacting, yet multitasking on their mobile devices at the same time. "It's a typical situation in these typical times. . ." :-) How we talk to each other today.

Who knows - they might even be texting each other!
Nice capture. I'm not sure this is a good development - shattered attention and all that - but it is what it is. BTW: why do so many women wear boots in cold weather just to look cool (sorry), but men only do for work or actual hiking (unless you are in Texas)?
Nice one, that's true, it's the new epidemic, just focusin on their devices, without looking anything else. I don't like it, even I am one of them sometimes... ups ;)
We have come a long way since the days of Morse Code.
Great capture and social commentary. That is really where we are now. Here physically; there mentally.
Don't get me started on how nobody can have a real conversation with the people they are with for texting the people they are not with.
Great shot though Kim.

I hesitate to comment for fear of being labelled a grumpy old man (not by you of course) but how times have changed - but I wonder what they miss with their heads immersed in their phones - years ago they all had walkmans attached to their ears.
You need to start posting again. C'mon. It's spring in Seattle.
