It is pleasant enough inside Bastille Café at lunch, but the real action is happening under the sun out in the street along Ballard Avenue. Buskers are busking, neighbors are chatting, and vendors are offering beautiful local veggies, fruits, cheeses, fish, poultry, and meats, beverages, art, and an atmosphere that draws hundreds of folks to leisurely stroll the Sunday Farmers Market.

I just walked by here the other day (La Bastille) and wondered if it was any good! Gotta try.
Hi Kim, nice to see you and your blog are still around. Great shots. MB
Love love love me some Bastille.
I think everyone who has ventured in has loved it. The owners now have another restaurant across the street in the new Ballard Hotel--I prefer Bastille, but the new place is always packed, so it's well liked. :-)
