Seattle buildings are sporting a LOT of Seahawks blue and green and 12th Man symbols. One news outlet has dubbed it "Hawkitecture." Here is a view of the Seattle skyline looking east over Elliott Bay from West Seattle. The Russel Investment Center building has donned its 12th man finery and a Seahawks banner is above the numerals. Many other buildings are wearing the colors, as is the Seattle Great Wheel. Lotsa spirit on the street! It's Super Bowl Sunday. Go Hawks!

Kim: You eye is exquisite as I continue to enjoy your photographs. You really capture feelings in your work. Yeah, this is just a skyline but it evokes the feeling of pride in Seattle right now. Karen
I'm drinking an evening tea in my Seahawks mug right now! :-)
I love it! Ah Seattle:) Hope you've been enjoying the fun!
Congratulations. I hope one of my favorite cities enjoys its victory. Carolyn and I had our annual Stupid Bowl dinner at an excellent new restaurant.
BTW, I think the 12th man idea started with the Boca Juniors soccer team in Buenos Aires.
Props. So excellent!
Thanks very much to each of you for your very kind comments. I'm glad the photo conveys a little of the immense pride Seattlites take in their sports teams. The supportive fan base for the Seahawks has infected the whole of the city and the region with its 12th Man spirit. For someone like me who pays little attention to sports, its fun to watch the wide enthusiasm.
