Seattle has a new skate park in the Ballard neighborhood that appeals to children, teens, and adults alike. I got a bit of "Dogtown" north as I watched skateboard enthusiasts drop into the bowl and wheel around the walls like effortless poetry of body, mind, board, and motion.

That's a very cool photograph; nice framing, the truncated view creates a feeling of fluidity and speed. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is very eye-catching! If I had been there, I probably would have tried to get the whole guy in the picture. But this puts less emphasis on the person and more emphasis on the movement. Great capture!
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! I did capture an image of the entire figure, but cropped it to provide a more interesting view "a la Bob," and to provide a larger leg/board image. Blogger has not worked for me for two days. When I can get those issues settled it will post more images on More Seattle Stuff.
