McCaw Hall Kreielsheimer Promonade

Photo & Text Copyright 2006 Seattle Daily Photo. All rights reserved, including reproduction or republishing.

This is the last week of the Maurice Sendek-inspired Nutcracker performances at McCaw Hall. If you look through the glass doors to the lobby you can see the nutcracker in larger-than-life form. In this view you see the top of the Needle adorned with Christmas tree lighting through the mesh screens of the grand promenade designed by Gustafson Guthrie Nichol These gigantic sheer metal curtains catch light and connect the completely refurbished hall with the adjacent performance space.
