Sometimes these things WILL happen. . .the Metro bus was passing, I saw this interesting man in the window and clicked. It wasn't until I uploaded the shot that I noticed what the bus billboard said. . . .
Wishing everyone a great Monday, whether you are starting your work week or on holiday.

  2. Zsolt,

City Slicker is a term used in old movies and radio shows when rural people are talking about city folks. I think it a refers to sophistication or someone looking like a dandy. Saying someone is slick can also mean they appear to be reputable but are less than honest or can con people.

  3. I love this kind of serendipity that you only discover when you download the photos to the computer and enlarge them.

  5. Oh, I love when moments like this happen!
Same thing happened to me the other day. I made a photo of a guy cooling off in the westlake fountain and when I came home and uploaded the shot, I saw a bus had passed by at just that moment with the word 'fresh' on it.
    How perfect for the photo!
Here it is if you'd like to see it:

  7. Gerald, Bluechic, Waldo, & Kittykat,
Thank you so much. These moments are fun when they happen. . .

    and Katia,
Your photo is so COOL (literally and otherwise ;^) ) That is an amazing capture. I love the rapture on his face as he is enjoying the "fresh" relief of the water on what was one of our most blistering days. I just love it! Thanks for sharing.
