I thought you might like to see this view looking north down a residential street in the Madrona neighborhood. The traffic circles at this intersection and the next are planted with flowering trees and daffodils, a common sight in many Seattle neighborhoods right now. Wishing you a great start to the Easter weekend with lots of time to enjoy the beauty of the spring or autumn scenes near you.
Ooooh, it's like a tunnel of pink cotton candy - delicious!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty shot.

Thus begins my love/hate relationship with the Cherry Trees. My eyes love them, but my body seems to hate them (allergies).
ReplyDeleteNice shot! I also love Daffodils. :-)
Wow...this is really pretty..
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you too!
So I've been walking around for the last few days trying to find the right street, the right perspective, the right light and now I can move on to other things since you got it all.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful street! Nice shot!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot. I love the pink blossoms.
ReplyDeleteMy Mother lived in Wedgewood for awhile and all the streets were lined with ornamental cherry trees and when the petals fell it was like pink snow. MB
Pink Spring!
ReplyDeleteNice shot! I hope spring comes here soon too.
ReplyDeleteGreat composition and I love the promise of springtime!
ReplyDeleteits so beautiful when the cherry blossoms are out. one of the things i miss most about seattle. btw i linked you on my blog:)
ReplyDeleteGoodness, how fabulous. Almost like someone has gone over-the-top in saying it's spring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I can't believe the trees have bloomed that much there, and the flowers planted as well. We're not getting that here, though I suppose Colorado's wacky weather that can't decide between snow and warm weather has something to do with that... :)
ReplyDeleteSeattle's trying on her spring dresses and showing off for your camera!
ReplyDeleteoh i miss the cherry blossoms
ReplyDeleteSpring is almost here!
ReplyDeleteI'm in awe of your photography!
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you all for your very kind comments! I think Petrea is right about Seattle trying on her spring dresses :-). Now if she would just make up her mind and send winter away for good!
