I thought we'd start out the week with an upward spiral in this abstract. If you recognized this detail as the curved side of the 2nd & Seneca Building in downtown Seattle, you would be right! (Also known as R2D2 or Ban Roll On Building.) I loved seeing the turquoise, blue, gold, yellow, black and gray curving bands of geometric forms and their qualities of transparency, reflection, and opacity
Do those colors actually change during the course of the day? That would be most interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like the colours :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing shot Kim. All the reflections and color as you said. So intriging.
ReplyDeleteThis is great. Love the watery colors and the curves. super shot.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture! I love the colors and reflection.
ReplyDeleteThat is very neat. I love the colors. MB
ReplyDeleteKim, my first thought was "the view from inside Benaroya Hall" at intermission. I've always been partial to both nicknames for this building. Quite apt and also creative in realistic terms. Love your recent architectural series :)
ReplyDeleteLove this, Kim. Absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic shot Kim. I like it a lot!!
ReplyDelete"Louis," like the esteemed M. Pefley, is enjoying your architecture series.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of nicknames for buildings, the City of London has offices in a very controversial building that is alternatively called the:
ReplyDelete1) Bobbie's hat
2) The Pickle
3) ...well, you can see where this is going, so "Louis" will stop here....
I really like all the reflections in this shot.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic photo. Just great.
ReplyDeleteJust catching up. This is just fabulous, Kim. Oh well done.
