  39. Really good idea: a collage of the Emerald City (c.f. Virginia's post today) in its yellow manifestations. Who knew that the Space Needle was that color?

Thank you for your long comment today. Here's how it came about: sometimes I think my brain works like a slot machine, except the reels have a zillion different things on them, not a small assortment of fruits and bars. Pull the lever, spin the reels and see what weird stuff lines up. When the theme was announced I kept thinking yellow...yellow...what does that mean to me? At some point a line from an old song, Bob Dylan's Tombstone Blues got stuck in my head: the sun's not yellow, it's chicken. Then one thing led to another and here we are.

  40. Congratulations!! This has become one of my favorite sites over the last couple of months...keep up the awesome work.

  44. Hi again Kim,

Thanks for your comments. On the collage: I just used the free tool on Picasa, and chose the option that does this (Mosaic I think). You can shuffle them around automatically. I do like the way yours has margins between though. maybe Picasa does all that too, but I haven't fully explored it.

On the health front: getting better!

    Sally
