. . .how strange it felt to be out on an evening run after work in the bright warm sun. It has been three surreal days of absolutely gorgeous weather and everyone seems to be outdoors. All the mountains have been clear and beautiful on the horizons. Feels good to go about in sandals. I even got a pedecure yesterday and broke out my linen crop pants. Rain expected overnight and today, though. The taste of summery warmth sure seemed to set well with Seattlites. These runners and walkers were on a path in Myrtle Edwards Park near the Olympic Sculpture Garden along the Elliott Bay waterfront.
There is no place more beautiful than Seattle on a sunny day.
ReplyDeleteOh hasn't it been fun. I spent all day yesterday out in the Tulip fields. It was a great day.
ReplyDeleteYou evening sky shot yesterday is beautiful. MB
It's the weather they are predicting for our WE,
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to feel like a Giant too!!
Okay... Howdja do dat? Or else there's something wrong with my computer screen that I see long, stretched legs on 'Alice' and the jogger "...ten feet tall...," as Jefferson Airplane sang.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot; surreal song for a surreal day.
My daughter and fiance are here from Seattle, and they're enjoying our regular old spring weather---some sun, some rain!
Seattle, a city of giant legs? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm moving to Seattle if I can get that tall too! The light looks great.
ReplyDeleteLook at those legs. Amazing what a touch of spring will do - I could do with being taller...perhaps we need to know the secret. Love the shot.
ReplyDeleteI'm an Alice too and I'm sorry but have to tell you my legs are not so long...:-((
ReplyDeleteIt's been lovely here, too, though there's a freeze warning in effect for tonight. Crazy!
ReplyDeleteHusband and I drove through Portland twice in the last 3 weeks, and enjoyed the view of Hood both times. We also went through Bend a couple of weeks ago and were treated to a beautiful clear view of Adams, Washington, Jefferson, Three-Fingered Jack, the Three Sisters, and Shasta. It was phenomenal.
Gotta love spring skies!
WEll if my stubby little legs were long like that it wouldn't take me so long to take my walk! That's one cool effect KIm!
ReplyDeleteV
PS There's been some Seattle talk around my house the last few days!
...when she's 10 feet tall. I love Jefferson Airplane. I now have this song blasting into my ears from my iPod!
ReplyDeleteLOL - ANY pants would be crop pants on those legs!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it.
