The pre-sunrise view of Seattle's waterfront skyline from a ferry earlier this week. It is Skywatch Friday, and skies around the globe can be seen by visiting Skywatch here, or add a shot of your own skies. Happy Friday the 13th, and best of luck to everyone!

  1. Spectacular sky. The red streaks are so... so... unusual. I love them.

  3. What a gorgeous shot! Love the bird! We have had some gorgeous skies over the past few days, in spite of the rain, haven't we! Yesterday was such a sunny, delightful surprise! We're back to the usual though today!

Good luck for the day! Enjoy your weekend!

  4. Ooh, raspberry skies in Seattle at daybreak -- they don't get much better than that. (Especially when Mt. Rainier is basking in just such a raspberry hue and actually looks like raspberry sherbet.)

Thanks for sharing. Major homesickness factor!

  13. In seasonal time, it's interesting to remind ourselves that this photo dates from mid-November. I don't often see the sunrise at this time of year. We are having some great sunsets though.
