iPhone Wednesday #24: Downtown Buildings
Photo & Text Copyright 2009 Seattle Daily Photo. All rights reserved, including reproduction or republishing.
In downtown Seattle one can find a monochrome pallet without tampering with the colors at all. This was shot with and edited in an iPhone.Chuck & Ming may have iPhone Wednesday shots for you, too.
Is that the older Washington Mutual tower? I love the art in front - the 'fallen down' chrome pillars represent what happened to this ex 'pillar of the community' incredibly well.

This image has the 'blues' in the most glorious sense.
ReplyDeleteMonochrome a lot here in Portland too...especially this time of year. Very nice prospective on this shot.
ReplyDeleteAs the photo slowly loaded, from the top down, I was getting more and more worried but then the dark lower part showed up to save the day. Well done.
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot Kim. With the buildings in Seattle, it would take some time to run out of good shots.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you!
You get some really amazing shots with your iPhone!
