Walking along the Sound yesterday I noticed these worn old dock posts still in formation but with no discernible task anymore. It's my iPhone Wednesday shot where the photo is shot and edited with the iPhone and available apps.
I love the soft pink color in contrast with the hard black stubs of posts. I never would have guessed this was taken with a phone camera!
ReplyDeletenice shot Kim!
ReplyDeletei like the depth of field
and also the tone.
noxy.
@ lizziviggi, thanks a bunch. People can have fun with these low resolution shots and they take all of a minute to shoot, edit and upload. Instant fun. . .and you don't even have to shake it :-).
ReplyDelete@ Noxy, Thank you very much.
Excellent shot. Seen like that, it looks like a Stonehenge/Avebury/Callanish/Carnac etc. only not round.
ReplyDeleteThe footprints seem as random as the posts in this evocative shot.
ReplyDeleteI'm with cieldequimper--my first association was the Easter Island figures.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo. Are you sure these are dock posts in Seattle and not standing stone in Brittany?
ReplyDeleteEvery photo you put up makes me want to move to Washington! Looks like a great place.
