A float plane over Lake Union passes Gas Works Park as it prepares to land. I never tire of watching the flights come and go, and sometimes wonder at all the boat and plane traffic maneuvering on the lake in the graceful ballet of air and water craft that plays out here daily.
Wow. I could probably spend a few days at the Gas Works Park.
ReplyDeleteI really admire the composition of this, Kim.
ReplyDeleteKenmore Air? Is that a plane that is sold by Sears? :-)
ReplyDeleteYou and JUlie of Scottsdale Daily Photo each posted photos of planes today, yours with a dramatic composition of the gas works in the foreground, and Julie's with dramatic clouds in the background.
This photo seems to have a 'life and death' feel to it. I really like it :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! I like the foreground, too.
ReplyDeleteFantastic textures on the old tank (?) and pipes!
ReplyDeleteOooh....am I the only one thinking of 9/11? Aside from that, I like how you caught the plane and the 'gasworks.'
ReplyDeleteThanks guys!
ReplyDelete@ Bibi, gosh, I never thought of it, but a plane heading toward two structures. . .of course!

amazingly similar...
I always like to watch the planes from their little airport on Lake Washington in Kenmore. I used to go right to the water and watch the daily activities.
ReplyDeletethanks for visiting my blog. MB
