This was the fog this morning with eastern light silhouetting a plume of steam, the Aurora Bridge in the distance, electrical towers, and the masts, booms, and roof lines along Salmon Bay. It burned off by mid day and revealed a sunny, glorious, blue sky autumn day. I literally shot this by pointing the camera one handed in the general direction of this scene through the open car window without looking while driving mid-span on the Ballard Bridge. It's not something I usually do, but the light and fog was just too different to miss the shot.
Oh this is so misty, moisty, marvelous!

For some reason this reminds me of the old time oil fields around Galveston, Texas. Wonderful light in the photo.
