Seattle Live-Aboard's Doorway
Many people here in Seattle live on board their houseboats and boats. This shot is of the port door of The Compass Rose which was in a slip on Lake Union (that's the Aurora Bridge in the background). This cabin door was just so sweet, I just couldn't resist! (For a view of the entire boat, click here)

Cute little window there! Looks like the doorway belongs to a beautiful wooden boat too.
Hey, your clock says it's still 11PM - but I'm glad you posted early. We're getting towards the end of Friday. I didn't think of doors not attached to houses/buildings. Good thinking!
Something a bit different for the theme... nice and simple, but a great shot.
Oh your so clever...this is great!
ACK! It's "you're". I hate not being able to edit!
i believe this is the only door not on ground..good entry!
Creative thinking!
Good thinking and very creative! Good shot Kim!
we are partecipating to the Theme day too :-)
Oh, what a great idea! And great shot!
Great choice for Seattle. The photo perspective make me think the top door would not meet flush with the bottom door. Does it?
This one has to be one of the most unique! Great idea for your door!
Awesome! I love the half door!
doorways afloat.. good choice.. unique and interesting!
How many of us say 'I could have done that' after the fact. Great choice.
Oooh this one is cute! Love the small window :)
Nice find! I didn't think of a boat. Great shot.
Unique and creative——congrats!
Fantastic idea and execution, Kim. Love it.
