Hot Cider & Santa: a Seattle Tradition

I passed this Nordstrom employee on the sidewalk as he was serving free hot cider to patrons waiting in line outside the downtown Seattle store for their turn to visit Santa. Santa is on duty today, and just visible through the store window posing for a photo with some children. To see him with the kids visit my More Seattle Stuff page.

veiled a tradition sympathetic nerve, and that makes it possible to people to discuss while waiting

Oui, Olivier. And because they can watch through the window and have something warm to drink and perhaps a cookie or two to eat, the children seemed to find it a bit easier to wait, even in the cold. Adults were in a jolly mood, as well.

Oui, Olivier.

cool shot Kim, the blurry background and the sharpness of the blonde make good contrast!
