Wheeeeeeeeeee. . . .

I heard some people ask, "What is that?" I remember my mom had one in her desk drawer. They went the way of the typewriter I'm afraid, but now this one is enjoying retirement wheeling down a snow-dusted hill in the Seattle Art Museum's Olympic Sculpture Park, opening this month. The whole town is abuzz about this new outdoor art venue.

Hey that's a great idea! I love outdoors art, it makes a city more beautiful and interesting... and that in particular is really funny, cool! :)

Thanks for your kind comments everyone! This peice is fun and whimsical.

LavenderLady, When you come down to Seattle, I would love to meet you. My work schedule can be flexed if you come on a weekday. A walk through this waterfront park with you would be lovely. Maybe Susan of Not Strictly Seattle would be interested to come in from the Eastside for a CDP bloggers' meetup. Sound intersting?

Help me, Kim, I just had to explain to my young (only by 5 years) husband what "that thing" is.... Boy, if that doesn't make me feel old..... We still have a record player and a few LPs, but he didn't know this one...
