Theme Day: Seeing Red In Seattle

Photo & Text Copyright 2007 Seattle Daily Photo. All rights reserved, including reproduction or republishing.

July's theme for City Daily Photo Bloggers is "Red." Red is big in Seattle so I've bent the "one photo a day" rule for this special day and combined 13 of 45 contending images to show you. Click on any image to go to a full photo. I'd like to invite you all to come back in a few days for SDP's One Year Anniversary on July 8th! Celebrating 365 daily posts and a lot of fun exploring Seattle and being part of the fab CDP family. A big salute to Eric in Paris who got it all started with PDP and who is coming home from my old city today, San Francisco. Hope you had an awesome time in the City By the Bay!

98 City Daily PhotoBlogs are participating in today's theme. Time to take a trip around the globe in red! Click on a city to start your tour, and be sure to leave a comment for the authors!

Wow, lots of red, Kim. Fantastic. And a belated Happy Birthday to you!

Red all over! I like the chairs on the left, in front of the windows.

How do you get Blogger to accept a date/time in the future? I can't forward-date my posts, and now I have a problem with my RSS feed where my posts don't even show up until a few hours *after* I post them.

a collage like Nathalie

z -- if you are listening here you can change the date-stamp on blogger but it won't sleep-post like a wordpress post -- I'm not sure tha date-stamp makes much difference to the rss feed

Thanks for your quick answer over at my blog. I just tried: I still can't forward-date, though I can back-date if I want. Oh well!

Z, that's really weird. Kate taught me how to do it and it works for both of us. Well, Blogger did something that made my background disappear for two months with no resolution, so I had to reformat my blog. It's quirky that way. . .Good luck.

Gerald, You seem underwhelmed. Done totally independently, I assure you. . .great minds think alike, eh?

Great collage!

This is entertaining.
I am staring at all the various 'reds'. The red piglet is the cutest of them all :-)

It would be nice to just sit and do nothing on the red couch there.

Happy Theme Day Kim!

Almost one year. Very impressive. I liked the Red Mill Burger sign the best in your collage.

Hi again Kim - no I wasn't altogether underwhelmed as much as my first visit was before I'd posted mine first time round. It is a great collage with many interesting elements. Now it is tomorrow after linking to 118 sites and I'm looking through them all again!

Yours has got to be one of the most beautiful posts I've seen on the theme, and I've seen nearly all of them.

Just like you, I just had too many to choose from. Wasn't it fun to chase reds all around town?
