This is the view from the pedestrian overpass in yesterday's shot, looking southwest past the point at Blue Ridge. Looks like a one design class sailing race on the Sound. People are enjoying the sandy beach at Carkeek Park on a beautiful summer evening. By mid November chum salmon will be spawning up the painstakingly restored habitat of Piper's Creek.
