Although we had sun yesterday and children could be seen playing all afternoon in yards up and down the street as their parents worked in the gardens, today in Seattle is a rainy affair so far. I don't recall the name of this lovely flower, but it graces a rock garden in front of a Madrona neighborhood home. Wishing all within the CDPB community that celebrate it a lovely Easter.

It's a lovely visual Easter greeting. Thank you for the delicate blossoms! And, have a great day!
Happy Easter everyone!
It is a Helleborus and one variety is know as Lenten rose.
Yes, yesterday was a day to enjoy.
You play the best music. thank you. MB
Very pretty flower.
Happy Easter to you.
I agree with Small city scenes to say it's a Hellebore, the same is blooming just now in my garden and it's one of my favorite winter flowers (you can see it in the middle of my Spring collage). In French, we call them "roses de Noël" even if they don't all bloom in Christmas time...
Happy Easter, Joyeuses Pâques! It's raining here too...
A lovely flower. Happy Easter to you too.
Happy Easter Kim -:)
Kate, Thank you. I'm imagining you in sunny warmth and hope you enjoyed the day!
Bagpiper, Thanks very much!
MB, Thank you so much for that information, and amazing that you would know of a Lenten Rose variety! The delicate coloring and speckling really attracted me. Glad you like the music. The player has only limited selections of some artists I enjoy, so I made do with what was available.
Ken, Thank you!
Alice, So nice to find another fan of these lovely blooms. Thanks for confirming the name. I hope your holiday was lovely, despite the rain.
Marcel, Thanks! I expect it wasn't any warmer up your way than it was here, and a new front was visible coming in over the sound as the sun was setting, so very cold. We had lunch by the sound this afternoon and watched a guy come in under sail solo on about a 30 footer, and I was really feeling for him out there in that very cold wind and rain, taking down the jib and mainsail all alone while getting under power to come in the canal. We always sailed with friends or as a family, so everyone helped out. My hat was off to the guy.
Hey Chuck, thanks a bunch. Hope you guys had a great day!
Thanks everyone for stopping by!
-Kim
Amazing shot. I feel so inferior looking at your work!!
This a dream photo, Kim.
The harmony in soft colours and the balance in composition make it an incredibly soothing and peaceful sight.
