Removing the delectable day olds from the window at the close of the day. This Queen Anne neighborhood bakery cafe's windows are often steamy when I walk by late at night. A lovely place to sit with a cuppa and some wonderful warm offering while slowly coming to on a spring morning, and a nice lunch menu, too. Happy Friday everyone!

If I knew I was gonna die tomorrow I would eat and bloat up on bakery items. I love fresh baked bread almost more than country fried ham. Both are making my mouth water now. I like you photo a lot. I smiled just thinking of all the possibilities.

Greetings from Nashville!
I wanted to let you know I stopped by and have been enjoying your photos!

Please excuse that I'm cutting and pasting this comment, but since my right arm (my writing arm!) is still in a sling, typing is pretty difficult, so I really haven't been able to make comments.

Have a great weekend!
Chris

Fresh bread is so great to eat and the smell of bread baking is something else! I enjoy visiting your site daily with the excellent pictures of Seattle - a favourite city of mine.

Hi Kim: Great shot -- your site is wonderful. The descriptions really bring the photos alive! I finally launched my site so take a look if you have time -- www.svenskastudios.com
Have a great weekend, Karen

Fresh baked goods really are a reason to get up every morning unto themselves. Even the Panera near me is scrumptious, with their cherry walnut scones...makes up for their mediocre coffee.

Ah Kim. One of my favorite bakeries. Delectable indeed! Eat your heart out Abraham -:)

Abe, I'm with you! I remember Frau Evans, our German language club adviser when I was in high school, would have us kids over to her home nearly every Friday evening where she generally served up a big pot of bean soup and fresh loaves of homemade bread straight out of the oven with butter and strawberry jam. Man, we thought we were in heaven with that smell wafting through her place. Looking back, I can't believe the boatload of kids she ended up feeding every week. Does Patty bake bread at home?

Chris, Thanks so much for coming by! Hope your recuperation won't be too much longer!

Bruce, Thanks very much for visiting daily. I'm glad you like the photos.

Karen, Woo hoo! I just took a peek at both the blog and the photo website. FANTASTIC photos! I'll be carrying links to your sites in my sidebar very soon. So exciting to see your current work. Each photo is very special (were some of the landscapes from Kings Canyon?), and the Antarctica shots blew me away! Thanks for letting me know you are up and running, and for visiting here. Hope it'll be in person before long!

Gargamello, LOL! When summer comes I've got to do some morning baking, just for the lovely aroma when everyone wakes up.

Chuck, Berry season will be coming up! Anticipation. If only Macrina had a few more tables. . .I always seem to have to share one, usually with someone energized from just having finished their morning run. They are all peppy and talkative when I would just like to read and watch the lovely light stream in the windows :-).
