I was standing on the bank of the ship canal near Google's offices and had just taken a shot of the Fremont Ave Ice Cream Cruise boat chugging past the Fremont Bridge when I happened to look up the bike path and saw this couple sitting on a boulder overlooking the water, eating ice cream and smiling at each other. And then . . . Ah, an inspiring sunny, relaxed spring Sunday.

Awww, cute shot, and you must have been fast! I like this park in Fremont, and I've always wanted to take the ice cream cruise. Maybe this coming visit.

Awww, cute! Maybe they met online, and after they googled each other, they decided to take it to the next level.. in person?

Pat, I was discrete, as usual. Hard to resist such a sweet scene.

Tomate, You are too funny! Ghetty Images, Google, Adobe and a handful of other businesses have attracted a large population of young techie/artie foks to work and live in this once funkiest of neighborhoods and I bet on-line friendships are common enough.
