More bright and very bold colors to ward off the gloom! Spring is such a tease this year and is currently giving us the cold shoulder. Not exactly ice cream weather, but its our family's after dinner habit this time of year. Since they've closed The Mix and the Ben & Jerry's, and Cold Stone gets old and BR 31 Flaves is not our thing, this is our new fave. Fresh fruity organic gellato in a bright and friendly Greenwood neighborhood shop: Sweet On You.

Colors' festival!
Oh, I like the tones of this place and will definitely check it out very soon when in Seattle...slurp. Ben and Jerry's and Cold Stone are way too expensive, and I find Baskin-Robbins' ice cream too sweet; guess my tastebuds have changed.
Yeah, and if you look at the ingredients on those big chain store types, they have "partially hydrogenated oil" in them instead of actual food fat, so stick with the pure cream and butter when you can.
I'm so jealous you have this available to you Kim! And it's pretty and fun!
Looks like a winner, Kim. Gelato is numero uno at our place. Great shots of that colorful shop!
Great colors!
Looks like fun. MB
This place looks like great fun. Much more to my taste than the 1880's vintage mall at my site.
"Louis" isn't certain if he would like this place or not. He is VERY picky about ice cream. He only likes two kinds: home made and store bought.
As all your photos: bright and colourful. I really like them!
Love gelato. I wish they would make sugar-free so I could have it again. Do they have sugar-free there?
This place is about 7 blocks from my apt and less than a block from where I work but I haven't been there yet. It's owned and operated by the folks that own Olive You. Gotta try it.
Did I interpret this right? "Sweet on you" is the name of the shop? Looks brand new. Very colorful and perhaps a bit overdone for my taste, but I'm certainly willing to overlook decor in favor of taste. Thanks for the tip!
I like Louis's ice cream choices :)
What, they closed Mix?!?!?!? So sad, so sad. That was such a treat... this looks like a a cute joint though!
R.I.P. The Mix! :(
I only got to go there a few times since I moved here in August 2007, but I was hoping it would be a staple of my life here.
I'm always in for gelato, though (heck, I'm in for anything...). I'll check it out some time!
