She's Gone

She's Gone

I saw this guy quietly praying or crying in Post Alley Friday night, the very portrait of all our inward sorrows. My sweet mommy died yesterday afternoon. Thanks for your many kind thoughts and wishes during her illness.

Condolences are so very empty, nonetheless I'm sure appreciated. Your photo does tell it all ... Perhaps I glimpsed your mothers spirit above Gasworks last evening, floating in the sunset. Peace to you and your family, Kim.

I lost my mother too a little more than a year ago, I know there is nothing anyone can say to make you feel better... but remember that people can listen and that does help.
I have never posted a comment in your wonderful blog, but I have been a regular visitor for a long time and I wanted to thank you for your art.
