After yesterday's action shot I thought you might like to see a still life, just after a rain. This is among some houseboats in the Eastlake floating home community of Tenas Chuck. Care to pour a cup of coffee and join us on the deck? Happy Friday!

Dad-gummit! That looks like a fine oil painting built up with lots of glazes. Really nice.
Now, after looking at this with imagination, I wonder what you cropped out that was on the right side.
Hi, Kim! I tend to agree with Abe, in that it looks more like an oil painting. In either case, it's a stunning photo, and given my painting talent, I would leave it that way, if asked to paint it!
Honest, Abe, there is just a bit more water on the right, then some houseboats, docks, etc.
And, thanks a bunch to you both!

It's not really possible to comment on all the pictures one sees each day on so many CDP sites.
If I don't come up with anything dumb to say about the subject right off the bat I rely on my immediate reaction to the image.
I liked this shot instantly. If I'd taken it I'd frame it.
I love this one. Very moody with a wonderful mix of Fall-like colors.
I absolutely love this photo:)

This has to be one of the most incredible photos I have ever seen! A very nice job!!!!!!!
At the risk of repeating myself, yet another wonderfully composed photograph.
Great shot! I love this photo. The colors, the reflections, the textures are all great!
Wonderful shot Kim. Just beautiful.
Just stunning, absolutely stunning- it does look like a painting rather than a photograph. It's hard to believe real life could be that calm and beautiful.
really lovely composition and wonderful colours. your blog is very inspiring.
