Make Your Own Sushine

An overcast and rainy sky didn't deminish the sunny patch in front of St. Clouds restaurant on 34th Ave. Their long window box full of cheery yellow primroses made the streetscape seem a little brighter. Spring is just around the corner (or fall in the SoHem). Hope you are having a good start to the work week

Ah, so spring IS on the way. here in Oz for some reason we have always counted the seasons on calendar dates rather than equinoxes. Not sure why, but 1 march is the first day of Autumn (and my favourite month in Sydney!)

Your photo makes me almost (but not quite!) wish to return to Mn for springtime and the local farmers market with its abundance of plants. I will stay here in Mazatlan a bit longer, tho, 'til the ice and snow disappears completely. The yellow shade is so deep and true!

Spring looks to be around the corner. We are expecting snow this afternoon!

This is such a good choice, Kim. I suspect that most of the winter weary souls who flock to this photograph today desperately need a shot of blooming flowers. I certainly do.

Oh, how I long to see these. Another couple of weeks here, I think. Nice touch with the lady walking away.

Beautiful photo. Love the way you got the focus just right. It's raining here in soCal and needed something to brighten things up.

Spring has sprung. In a grey world this strip of dazzling yellow is so optomistic. Exceptional image too, the soft focus really allows your eye to hone in the subject. A fabulous start to the week.

Thanks so much for this lovely photo! Just what I needed after walking home in the pouring rain. The colors are stunning!
