Blue Evening Sky

Blue Evening Sky

Blue evening light mixes with neon of sidewalk archways. This was straight out of the camera. The whole west coast of the US was bathed in warmth and sunshine today, and it was wonderful here.

Love the colors of the blue sky and pink bathed brick columns of the building.

Thanks very much to each of you. I had zip to do with the colors. This is straight out of the camera. I should have corrected the white balance as the sidewalk looks yellow in the street light, but I didn't want to mess with it.
M-N, I'm with you about this time of day. The sky is always so amazing. But, it's been skies like you have now for so long. . . You'll be seeing more of this from me as we head into summer and the never ending daylight we get here. I wish I could gather everyone up to come here and enjoy just one of our perfect summer days and evenings.

Friends of mine were in town and we had a crab feast while the sun was setting and a passenger ship pulled out with a high school prom on board, all the people dressed to the nines, and it was so warm and lovely. . . Well, I'm heading back your way this summer for vacation, so maybe I'll have a mid-atlantic crab feast in the humid heat and green back there! :-)

"This is straight out of the camera" - I wish mine came out of the camera that way, Kim! I love the pinks against the blue. What a sky! Gorgeous!
